Welcome to Cinque Cavalli..breeding thoroughbred racehorses in a safe and natural environment.

Situated in the rolling hills near Braidwood, NSW, Cinque Cavalli is the result of a life-long dream to breed thoroughbred racehorses in a safe and natural environment.

The farm is owned and operated by Mary Bray with expert assistance as required from farriers, vets, yearling preparation staff (from local horse courses where possible), bloodstock agents and of course, trainers.

Mary has worked on thoroughbred studs from Orange to Gundaroo and Scone and was the gold medallist in the 1986 Horse Husbandry course at Roseworthy Agricultural College before leaving the industry to earn enough money to return on her own terms. Mission accomplished – but money now all gone (well spent though)!

The farm has all new fencing using mesh below HorseRail polyethelene coated rails and a new stable barn with large open boxes so youngsters feel safe and happy. Only biological fertilisers are used to promote healthy soils and good mineral content in the pastures.

The paddocks for yearlings and mares and foals are large with dams to play in and lots of gentle hills to gallop around to promote sure-footed racehorses. There is always someone to have a gallop with, but never a crowd.

We do not offer agistment for mares, but will do yearling preparation if there is a spare spot in with our youngsters. The idea is to keep the stock low, the pastures healthy, and the trainers and horses happy and their new owners EXCITED.
